Become A Volunteer

Looking for a way to give back to the arts community? Become a Dallas Arts District Volunteer! We have volunteer positions open for both docents (which require additional training) and event staff (which require minimal instruction).

Volunteer Docents

Docents lead groups of individuals on tours of the Dallas Arts District. We offer both public and private tours. The public tours are held on the first Saturday of each month at 10:30 a.m. The private tours can be scheduled for anytime during the week. We are looking for people who are great communicators, public speakers and excited about the sharing the rich history and architectural wonders of the Dallas Arts District with the community. Internships

Unpaid internships are available during the Fall, Spring and Summer. These internships can act as a fulfillment of school requirements or as a way to help out our organization. To inquire about an internship, please contact Catherine Karam at 214.744.6642 or karam@downtowndallas.org.

Event Volunteers

Volunteers are needed primarily for large events in the Dallas Arts District. Currently, there are no upcoming large events in the district.
